Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (ZBEÜ) is committed to internationalization by recognizing the Erasmus+ Program as a tool to implement the Bologna Process in higher education within the scope of the accelerating process of international exchange. The Erasmus+ program is an important aspect of the University's international activity, with over 180 bilateral agreements with 19 countries. ZBEÜ has fully embraced the use of the ECTS credit system and the ECTS credit system is fully implemented to improve the participation of our students in EU educational activities. In addition, our students are encouraged to participate in the Erasmus+ program and to continue at least one semester of their education in EU countries under the Erasmus+ program. For this purpose, Erasmus+ Exchange Program Coordinatorship regularly holds meetings with students, and at these meetings, students who have benefited from the Program before, meet with students who aim to do mobility and share their experiences. However, staff mobility is supported and encouraged to sustain academic exchange, research, curriculum validity and development. As an international university, ZBEÜ provides all kinds of support to increase student motivation and increase participation in the Program, and constantly shares information about the Erasmus+ program with various communication tools. All measures have been taken to ensure that the selection is objective, transparent and efficient in the Erasmus+ exchange process. The future aim of our university is to increase incoming students and staff.

Information packages of all programs and courses in the curriculum are available on the university website. ZBEÜ attaches great importance to European integration and makes every effort to improve the quality of education and research. Priority areas such as education, research and student and staff mobility, international accreditation and development of the international curriculum are included in the strategic plans of the units and the University. In this way, a realistic approach can be provided in terms of internationalization activities and internationalization policies can be developed.

The Erasmus Policy Statement declares our university's commitment to the European Education Area and the Erasmus+ Programme. For this reason, visibility and recognition are ensured by ensuring that all activities related to the Erasmus+ Program are announced to the ZBEÜ community through various communication channels. Multi-faceted studies are carried out in order to increase interest and desire in the activities within the scope of the Erasmus+ program. Our university continues its quality-oriented studies in order to ensure that all individuals, regardless of gender, religion, race, age and physical disability, benefit from the Erasmus+ program.
