Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (ZBEÜ) aims to be a university that provides quality assurance in education, serves the society and puts internationalization at the center of all its studies. Preparing its strategic plan considering that internationalization increases the quality of education, research and community service activities, ZBEÜ aims to integrate all elements of higher education with an international perspective and to create learning environments that allow intercultural interaction.

ZBEÜ aims to enable its students to be individuals with high competitiveness in international platforms and with competencies that support multiculturalism. In line with this goal, courses in foreign languages, especially English, are encouraged in all programs. Students are provided with opportunities to learn foreign languages. It is aimed to integrate intercultural dimensions into curricula, to prepare programs with international content, and to provide learning environments that will support intercultural skills. Student and staff exchange agreements and international perspective and experiences are supported by mobility.

In the field of research and development, ZBEÜ aims to strengthen its international competitive potential by recruiting qualified and equipped researchers from various countries of the world. Within the scope of this strategic goal, all faculty members are encouraged to provide international cooperation in research and development and scientific activities.
