Learning Mobility of Higher Education Students and Staff


With this activity, which is under the Key Action 1, KA1 for Individuals' Learning Mobility, it is aimed to improve the competencies of higher education students and staff and to offer them professional development opportunities abroad. In this context, to increase the opportunities of foreign education for those who continue their higher education, to provide them with the skills they need to transition from education to business life; On the other hand, the following activities are supported for higher education personnel to acquire work practice knowledge or increase their pedagogical skills:
-Student Mobility: University students studying in a higher education institution abroad or doing internship in a company or any institution/organization abroad
-Staff Mobility: Attending a course/training (excluding conferences) or on-the-job training/monitoring of academic staff of higher education institutions or a staff working in enterprises giving lectures at a higher education institution abroad or all academic and administrative personnel of higher education institutions for their professional development in an institution abroad.

Who Are Eligible Participants?
The beneficiaries of this activity are students and staff of higher education institutions. However, the application must be made by the higher education institution or the coordinator of the national higher education mobility consortium. Individual applications are not accepted.

Which Organizations Are Eligible?

In order to apply as a higher education institution; It is necessary to be a higher education institution located in the program country and holding the "Erasmus Charter for Higher Education-ECHE".
In order to apply as a National Mobility Consortium; It is necessary to be the coordinator organization located in the program country and holding the Higher Education Mobility Consortium Certificate. Organizations that do not have a valid Mobility Consortium Certificate can apply for a mobility project grant at the same time as they apply for it. Higher education students and staff cannot directly apply for a grant to our Presidency. Applications must be made to the higher education institution registered/affiliated.
Mobility activity for higher education students and staff must include at least one sending and at least one host organization, both located in Program Countries.
According to the type of activity;
-In student mobility for education; both sending and host institutions must be higher education institutions with ECHE.
-In student mobility for internship; The sending institution must be a higher education institution with an ECHE. The host organization can be a public or private organization operating in the labor market or in the field of education.
- In staff mobility for teaching; The host institution must be an ECHE holding higher education institution. The sending organization can be a public or private organization operating in the labor market or in the field of education.
-In personnel mobility for training; The sending institution must be a higher education institution with an ECHE. The host institution can be a higher education institution with an ECHE or a public or private institution operating in the labor market or education.

What are the Duties of the Participating Organizations?

Participating organizations involved in the mobility project undertake the following roles and tasks:
-Sending organization: Responsible for the selection and sending abroad of students and staff. This task includes grant payments, preparation for the mobility period, monitoring and recognition.
-Host institution: It is responsible for accepting students/staff from abroad and offering them a training/internship or activity program.

How Long is the Project Duration?

The duration of the project can be 16 or 24 months, provided that it is selected at the application stage within the framework of the project objectives and the type of planned activities.


How Long are the Activity Periods?

The duration of the activity varies according to the type of activity:
-In student mobility for education; 3 to 12 months
-In student mobility for internship; 2 to 12 months
- Staff mobility for teaching/training; It can be from 2 days to 2 months, excluding travel times. In all cases, a teaching activity should include at least 8 hours of teaching activity for weekly stays or shorter.
